I've encounter too many mishaps in just 2 weeks. I start to wonder if everything is going downhill. Weird.
Firstly, on my way to class last week, there's a self-skidded motorcycle right in front of our car. I saw the rider picking himself up and he was still able to stand, but later i realized that there are fresh blood on the pavement. Two kind motorists stopped to help him, and because he seemed okay, we drove off.
Later on the way back from class, there was a collision between a motorcycle and a car on the bend near the flyover just about 400m away from our school. Again, i saw the bike lying on the road but the rider seemed unhurt.
Yesterday evening on my way to school again, there's was again an accident involving a motocyclist (again) and another vehicle which i forgot whether was it a car or van. Anyway, i think it just occured seconds before we witnessed it. After which, there was a massive jam right behind the accident site because it took up 2 lanes out of 3. We were not affected by the jam. There was this motorcyclist who was just sitting on the road next to his collapsed bike, and he seemed conscious.
On my way back home, again at the notorious bend whom dear said it was a blind spot, there was another accident between another motorcycle and a car. =/
Lastly, this morning i took bus to work, there was this 70+ uncle whom look like he was gasping for breath, he just seemed very uncomfortable. And it didn't help when the bus was so packed with people. He dropped his inhaler twice and we picked it up for him. He seemed okay at one time, but sort of grimaced in pain another moment. He asked me and the lady next to me where should he alight to change a bus to alexandra hospital. Both of us had no idea, and there since there was a 24hr clinic nearby, we suggested that he should go to that clinic. But he doesn't seem keen on the idea. After a few more stops, he struggled real hard to alight the bus, and seemed unstable. Everyone was all ready to grab him should he fall. Anywae, he managed to alight to bus but upon reaching the bus stop, he was unable to make his way up to the curb and i saw him falling over. Luckily there were people at the bus stop and I saw one of them grab hold of him. My bus drove off after that, I didn't get to see what happened next. I hope he will be fine though.
Phew~ Why do i have to witness so many unfortunate things.
