There's a few things which i feel like blogging, but i shall do it another day after i've regained my energy. I'm back from genting last night. It was a good getaway despite having to struggle with the wheezing cough and the nasty side effects of salbutamol throughout the whole trip. No worries, I still had a good time. =)
It was nice being back home too. I'm so glad to see my dear's car when the coach was turning into the small drop off point, and it parked just behind his car. It was comforting to hear familiar voices of my mum and dad too, asking me with tonnes of questions about my trip. =) I guess one become emotional when he fell sick in a faraway land. No worries, i'm feeling much better now. I'm still fighting against the side effect of procodin that i just took.
I'll update again, and the next few posts will be flooded with pics. Just for my memories. =)
I just can't help thinking that time passes way toooo fast. Gosh. We are going to hit the critical 30 real soon at this alarming rate. I don't waaannnntt!!!!!!!! *cry*
However, i'm a happy girl because i have 1 week off from work! *Cheers!!* And.. i'll be going off to genting from 28th ~ 30th! =D After this holiday, i shall work doubly hard and at least clear 2 subjects for my prelims. Lol. I know this doesn't sound right, but for me to clear 2 out of 5 papers might be a good starter for me to pia for the rest of the months. I need a real hard kick behind before i can move you see.
Btw, thanks so much Ben for wanting to help me do my Sociology assignment. Topic is "How and why do sociologists differ in their views about the inevitability of globalization" Pls write between 2 ~ 3 pages with 1.5 spacing using Arial 12-point font. Pls help me indicate my name, IC and class on the top right hand corner of the paper, and indicate the topic question as well.
Hehe!! I have to hand up this week, but i'm going off to genting, so kindly send to my dear by wednesday night after you have finished =pPp You can also ask him for my IC no. and class if you are serious (and I am serious too!!!! =p) Btw, let's go watch Bride Wars together after i'm back.
Alright then, its past 12midnight. Our parents will all live to a ripe old age! =) Hehes.. Tml shall be a long and fruitful day for me. I just lost 5 bucks over a few rounds of black jack. Wish me more luck for the next 2 days! Huat ah everyone!! =D
I just recovered from a bout of viral infection before New Year and here comes another one. It has the exact symptoms: throat irritation, runny nose and chills. Sighh... What on earth has happened?
It doesn't help when i need to pull myself awake this morning to attend Sociology lecture. I did my very first attempted test, the chapter which i spent 2 full weekends to study, and in the end I duno what the hell am I writing and I don't know where exactly to start. Yes, u have the facts memorized, but to pen it down in a flow of thoughts, you would realized that you've been caught in a whirlpool. Who say essay writing is easy?
Well, perhaps its my own problem. It has always been.
I'm in the "argh!" mode right now. Just took 2 ponstan in hope to stop that throbbing headache that shook me awake this morning. Goodness.
Yesterday was deardear's birthday. Went to have Sakae Teppanyaki for dinner and caught Red Cliff 2. Hehes, it rocks! I'm sure going to catch Red Cliff marathon if there were any.
Okie, i shall start on my revision.
Jia you everyone!!
As much as i'm exhausted and defeated, i'm not going to retreat, yet.
I hate to answer the stupid phone and listen to ppl's nonsensical requests. I hate to face the ever PMS-ing sup. I hate to talk and pretend to be smiley behind the phone when i'm extremely tired. I hate it when i'm new and yet minimal support was given.
I hate to shuffle myself between work and school. I hate to feel tired at the end of the day before I can settle down for my revision. I hate to wake up at 6am everyday and came home after 11pm during school days. I hate to know that exams are around the corner and yet I've got no time to study. I hate to think that weekends the my only time available for revision. I hate to sacrifice outing plans on weekends.
I just wanna complain and vent out my frustration.
They want me to strive for exams. They are so realistic, so materislistic and so academicably brain-washed. They got upset with me that I just wanna aim for a pass, probably they want me to get 1st class honours. They can never understand that I have got no time to study at all. Weekends alone are not enough. They said that studies are very impt, and they would rather I sacrifice my job and study full-time. Yet, they are not going to support me for the school fees. They want me to pay for my own school fees. Where on earth do money come from if I were to quit my job. They are leaving me with no choice. I am confused by all their words. They are contradicting themselves, and they are stressing me instead of helping me.
Conclusion: They want me to continue to work and study. I have to find my own 48hrs/day to study full-time and work full-time.
I'm going crazy soon. I feel like shit. I feel like crying. I feel like dying.
My UOL exam dates are out, and it freaks me out. SIM prelim dates are not finalized yet, but it is confirmed to start next month. Omg. I'm totally caught unprepared.
SIM preliminary exams 23rd Feb to 17th March 2009
UOL exams 7th May: Principles of Accounting (1000-1315) Principles of Sociology (1430-1730)
8th May: Statistic 1 (1000-1200)
12th May: Mathematics 1 (1000-1200)
15th May: Introduction to Economics (1430-1745)
I foresee to spend all my weekends, holidays and even my birthday to drown myself in revision. Sigh, no choice. I only have 1/3 of the time and energy available as compared to full-time students.
And.... why the peak filing period must be in between March and May? Bless me.
Poly pals big group gathering! Most of them are dear's caregroup mates. I'm just tagging along. Haha.
Gladys (aka jiejie) and me
Gladys, me, dear and mervin
All of us~
3rd January 2009:
Met up with my usual poly jie meiss! I love them for making my journey in TP a smooth-sailing one. I never had such carefree and innocent life elsewhere. Very minimal conflicts. I miss it soooo badly. Life is never the same once u stepped out to work, agree?
Admist the ringing phones, the draggy hours, the nonsensical people, the cold skinned sup, hi-bye colleagues, and the wrong turn I made in this road, I find joy in life because of the ppl whom i loved dearly.

So many girls went gaga after watching Twilight, including myself. *hehes* Not only the girls, guys too!! This song was sent to me by my guy fren from sec sch. He said he's looking for Bella~ LOL!
