Monday Blues!
This is how me and my qad felt in work everyday. Lol!
Oh man, i'm feeling like this every monday. I can't wait til friday, and i will start counting down. Feeling joyous on friday, and starting to dread all over again after saturday's over. Its a vicious cycle...
Btw, i dun think i have told many ppl except close friends.. That a recent fortune teller (a super eerie-ly accurate one which can even describe how ce looks like -- dun ask me how) told me that i will lead a luxurious life in the future. Everything will go very smoothly for me after i've completed my degree, however i will meet obstacles during the course of it.
Anywae, i'm starting to ponder.... Is he refering the "luxury" in terms of monetary gains or the luxury in the quality of life. I mean, of course I knew he was refering to financial power, because fortune teller dun usually beat about the bush and asking you to read in between the lines. Its just that for myself, I dun foresee to be one of the high flyers and be part of the unseemingly high income group. Its not that I lacked the confidence to become one, rather, I chose not to.
Under the labour demand curve, i'm always at the furthest end of the leisure axis. I chose to live my life the way I want it to be enjoyable. I hate long hours of work, hate to bring back half of the office back home everyday, hate to burn my weekends for work. In contrary, I do hope that the fortune teller was right. However, I became doubtful because my personality and his prediction are what I deemed as mutually exclusive.
As for now, I would be greatful if my quality of life is luxurious, in the way I want it to. =)
